Pebbles

Most people have cats or dogs as pets, but not me- I always had rabbits. They're cute, fuzzy and simply adorable. How could you not love 'em? So after a long day at work, I walked in the house to a phone call from my mom. Poor thing, she had to break the news to me that my little buddy Pebbles had died earlier that day. We've had Pebbles for about 6 or 7 years (a very long lifespan for a domestic rabbit). When I moved out four years ago I couldn't have pets in the apartment so I had to leave him home with my parents, which totally sucked for me and them. I would visit him and take care of him as often as I could, but now of course I have that guilty feeling like I didn't do it enough. And even though he would bite my mom's curtains and chew on her furniture, I know they are going to miss him as much as I will.
