Egg-citing Weekend

Yes, I know that was a really cheesy title.
Happy Easter tomorrow everybody! Hope the Easter bunny brings you lots of good treats!
Yesterday was a long day, but a good one. Took the day off from work to visit Frankie's family in PA and we brought Grace along to play with our two nieces that live up there. They played games, watched movies and colored eggs. It was so much fun to see them all together, totally adorable.
At night it was party time! Headed over to the yacht club for Rich and Mon's bon voyage party. This was probably our last time to say goodbye before they head off to Hong Kong for two years. I hope I'll get a chance to visit them out there, but something tells me I can't handle a flight that long. The party continued all night. After drinks and apps at the yacht club the family (me, Frankie, Rob, Liz, Rich and Monica) headed over to Rhythm and Brews. A local bar that's actually fun! Yes, Staten Island has a fun bar! One of the guys from my brother's firehouse is in a band that was playing there. If you're ever in Staten Island and they're doing a show, check them out- Lala's Basement. They were so much fun and did lots of great covers!
Tonight we're heading out to see some friends we haven't seen in a few years which we are so excited about.
